Lauren Scott, PT,MPT, ATC received her BS from Boise State University in Athletic Training and her master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Lauren's interests include treatment of the spine, hip and pelvis, women's & men's health, prenatal/postpartum pelvic pain/dysfunction, as well as sexual dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain and incontinence (urinary & fecal).  She has received advanced training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute.  Lauren is currently pursuing advanced certifications in manual therapy from NAIOMT and biofeedback from BCIA in pelvic muscle dysfunction. She is also certified on the full line of Pilates apparatus from Polestar Education.

In 2004, Lauren set out to create a new type of practice, which would take a holistic approach to the overall well-being of her patients.  This allows patients to take a more active role in their health, incorporating Pilates and yoga with physical therapy. 
 

Jennifer Games, PT, LAc is a licensed physical therapist and acupuncturist in the state of Idaho.  She received her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy in 1993 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Since then, Jennifer has been practicing physical therapy in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient orthopedics.  She has specific training in women's health for the treatment of urinary incontinence and musculoskeletal dysfunctions for prenatal and post-partum women.

In 2003, Jennifer received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM.  she is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, encompassing acupuncture, Chinese herbology and traditional Chinese medical theory.

Jennifer is passionate about understanding how the human body heals and under what conditions optimal healing takes place.  She utilizes a holistic approach with her treatments, incorporating manual therapies ranging from acupressure and muscle energy techniques to yoga, customized home exercise programs, and Pilates principles. Jennifer is also a certified BodyTalk practitioner, enabling her to address the relationship of the body, mind and spirit in a gentle, comprehensive way.

                   

Heather Ebright is certified by Polestar Education on the full line of Pilates equipment. An avid runner, Heather discovered Pilates and noticed a marked improvement in her running and overall fitness. Heather's approach to teaching is supporting and encouraging. She believes that in order to improve form, strength and flexibility, one must work at a level that challenges the entire body. Heather is delighted every time a client achieves something new in their program or completes an exercise they have not been able to accomplish before.

Mila Wood is an apprentice at Kinesis. She is certified in the Pilates Matwork and is currently pursuing certification on the full line of Pilates equipment. Mila spends much of her time keeping up with her two young boys and participating in a rigorous tennis and fitness schedule. As a result, she knows how important it is to prevent injury by maintaining balance, strength and flexibility. Mila believes that Pilates should make us feel powerful, balanced and invigorated and help us to develop the body awareness we need in order to respond to the demands of an active lifestyle.
