SESSIONS ON THE EQUIPMENT

Physical Therapy Sessions
PT sessions are one-on-one sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist. These sessions include a comprehensive evaluation to assess movement impairments or dysfunctions, followed by appropriate interventions to prevent and minimize the progression of limitations resulting from injury or disease. We work closely with physicians and other physical therapists to rehabilitate our patients. Most insurance plans are accepted.

Private Sessions
Privates are one-on-one sessions on the Pilates equipment with a certified Pilates instructor. Privates provide individualized, hands-on instruction designed to meet your needs and goals. Sessions are 55 minutes in length.

Semi-private Sessions
Semi-privates are 55-minute sessions with a certified Pilates instructor on the Allegro Reformers. These sessions are limited to 2-3 participants. If you are new to Pilates, we recommend that you attend an introductory series (apparatus or matwork) prior to participating in semi-privates.

CLASSES (Class Schedule)

Therapeutic Mat Class
This class is designed for clients with intermittent back or neck pain or other limiting factors. It is a modified Pilates mat class taught by certified Pilates instructors who are also licensed Physical Therapists. The class is ideal for clients who are currently receiving physical therapy, as well as those transitioning out of physical therapy. In this class, you will learn the appropriate modifications of the Pilates matwork to accommodate your specific needs.

Rehabilitative Reformer Class
This class is designed for clients who have intermittent back or neck pain or other limiting factors that prevent them from participating in a more rigorous reformer class. Participants will be guided through exercises to improve stability, flexibility, balance, endurance and neuromuscular control. This class is ideal for clients who are transitioning out of physical therapy.

Fundamentals
This class is designed for those new to Pilates. Instructors will introduce and review the Pilates principles of movement so clients are familiar with terminology, elements of their own bodies and basic movements to be successful in starting a Pilates program.

Pilates Mat Class
This group class focuses on the Pilates floor exercises and is designed to emphasize the fundamental principles of Pilates matwork, including breath, spine elongation, alignment, coordination and core control. This class is a slightly faster paced workout that assumes the basic understanding of the Pilates principles. This class is ideal or those who have used Pilates videos or have attended classes before.

Allegro Reformer Class
This class is perfect for clients with experience on the reformer and a familiarity with the basic Pilates repertoire. An instructor will lead participants through a challenging and fun series of Pilates exercises designed to condition the entire body. You will tone your muscles, improve core strength and perform thorough stretches on the reformer. (Limited to 3 participants.) (Prior experience or participation in the Introductory Series is required before enrollment in this class.)

Core Circuit
This is an interval/circuit class that incorporates the Pilates principles of core training in addition to cardiovascular exercise. The Allegro reformers, small props and resistance bands/weights are used to maximize core training with a total body workout. This class is designed for those who want to increase the intensity of their core training program.
